WhippleWood CPAs client Angela Cody-Rouget, founder and CEO of Major Mom, won first place in the Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) category of the Realizing Your Dream National Business Competition sponsored by Citi and the Institute for Veteran and Military Families (IVMF).

Angela is a certified professional organizer and founded Major Mom to help busy families set up customized, achievable and sustainable systems for organization in their home or office. Under her leadership, Major Mom has expanded beyond its Colorado roots over the past eight years to include a team of 16 employees in four states.

The Realizing Your Dream National Business Competition is an opportunity for veterans and military spouses who are established or aspiring entrepreneurs to submit formal small business plans and compete for a share of $130,000 in seed funding from the Citi Foundation. Angela’s first place prize in the V-WISE category awards her $25,000 to invest in the future growth of her successful business.
